HEALTHY??

February is nearly over

Believe it or not..... I finally got into my own blogspot without help. Don't get excited because it may turn out to be a once in a lifetime thing. Many things have happened since we got home from our Christmas trip. I became so sick over the holidays and I'm still trying to recover. Last week I had the Endoscopy/Colonoscopy. I had been terrified at the prospect and feared that I would be awake and remember it all. I really wasted a lot of time on the thought. It turned out that I was unconscious the entire time. I had a stricture at the esophagus, an infection in the stomach and intestines and had some polyps removed and sent to the lab. Today I had CT Scan of my chest. I couldn't see a reason for it, but noticed that the paper showing charges said it was to check a nodule. I guess that is important. I'm really getting worn out with blood test, scans and x-rays.

We've been having our home remodeled since Thanksgiving Day. The contractors are finished and their work is fantastic. Grandpa is now building new cabinets in the dining room. We have doubled the size of our living room and had new tile put everyplace but the bedrooms which will be getting wood floors. Our entire project is gorgeous. We love our new colors, too. The former patio is the new half of the living room and we have a brand new patio with it's new roof. Don finally has his hot tub and has been in it all but one days since he's had it. We're blessed to have a lovely home and now it is even bigger and pretty much "handicap friendly".
